There are many different ways to join "The Crew That Cares".  From captain and crew fundraising; both on-water and as a phantom boat for those that don't own a boat or can't race this year; corporate event and individual survivor & memorial sponsors; donors and party goers, there's something for everyone!  Below are the ways individuals can get involved as fundraisers.  The menu at the top of the page provides details of the event weekend, sponsorship opportunities and party ticket sales.  What are you waiting for?  Sail for FUN, FUNdraise for Cures and join "The Crew That Cares" today!

Captain Fundraiser
Donate or Raise $100 or more!

Register to race in the Leukemia Cup Regatta then begin the most important race of all.  Gather your crew and begin fundraising today!  When you donate or raise $100 or more you will receive complimentary entrance for you and a guest to the SunTrust Bank Sailor's Launch Party and the United Healthcare All Hands Crew Party, a Captain's Goody Bag with Official Event T-shirt and eligibility for all fundraising gifts and awards.  Fundrising gifts and awards may include Mount Gay Rum merchandise, a $200 Vineyard Vines gift card for the top individual fundraiser, West Marine gift cards and more!  When you register for the Leukemia Cup Regatta, within 24-48 hours you will recieve your personal fundraising web page that you can send to friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to help you reach your fundraising goal.

Phantom Boat Fundraiser
Donate or Raise $100 or more!

Can't race?  Don't have a boat?  Register a phantom boat!  You can participate in this race, even if you don't have a boat, by joining us as a Phantom Sailor.  As a Phantom Sailor, you are participating in the most important race of all, the race to raise life-saving funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  Phantom Sailors that donate or raise $100 or more will receive complimentary entrance for you and a guest to the SunTrust Bank Sailor's Launch and United Healthcare All Hands Crew Parties, are given the same fundraising tools and are eligible for the same fundraising gifts and awards as the on-water sailing participants.  Simply sign up, choose a unique fundraising web link (your phantom boat name) and begin fundraising.  There's nothing more to it than that!  Fundrising gifts and awards may include Mount Gay Rum merchandise, a $200 Vineyard Vines gift card for the top individual fundraiser, West Marine gift cards and more!  To register your Phantom Boat click here! 

Honorary Skipper J/80 Fun Race Captain
Donate or Raise $100 or more!

As an Honorary Skipper J/80 Fun Race Captain you are giving a current patient or survivor and their family a chance to leave all their worries behind for a day and head out on the water for a fun race from the Eastport Yacht Club.  You and your crew will be paired up to take one or more patients and their families (rotating if more than one) on your J/80 and give them a day they'll never forget.  Leading up to the race you and your crew are encourage to raise funds to help in the fight against blood cancers.  All Honorary Skipper J/80 Fun Race Captains that donate or raise $100 or more will receive complimentary entrance for you and a guest to the SunTrust Bank Sailor's Launch and United Healthcare All Hands Crew Parties, are given the same fundraising tools and are eligible for the same fundraising gifts and awards as the Leukemia Cup Regatta sailing participants.  Fundrising gifts and awards may include Mount Gay Rum merchandise, a $200 Vineyard Vines gift card for the top individual fundraiser, West Marine gift cards and more!  Raise even more funds by finding an Honorary Skipper J/80 Fun Race Boat Sponsor for your boat.  Learn more about our sponsorship opportunities by clicking on Sponsorships.  To register as an Honorary Skipper J/80 Fun Race Captain click here!

Since 1993, participants in The Leukemia Cup Regatta events throughout the country have raised over $3.8 million in funding for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to invest in research to find cures for blood cancers—leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma—and to help improve the lives of patients and families. ESPN commentator and 1976 America’s Cup winner Gary Jobson, who is a lymphoma survivor, has chaired The Leukemia Cup campaign since its inception.
